Join us in Manchester for the Muddy Dog Challenge 2019, a 2.5km or 5km obstacle run that you can tackle with your dog.
Travel just 15 miles from Manchester City centre and you’ll find yourself in the beautiful show grounds of Ashley Hall, where our Manchester Muddy Dog Challenge is taking place for a second year.
Whether you’re a fitness fanatic or just looking for a fun day out, we welcome humans and their dogs to take part and raise money to help care for the dogs and cats at Battersea.
You can enter as a dog and human team or on your own. Participants must be aged 8 years or above on event day, and any children aged 8–15 must be accompanied by an adult, also taking part. Dog competitors must be 1 year or older on event day.
You’ll get a Muddy Dog Challenge t-shirt, and a bandana for your dog to wear on the day. After you’ve completed the course, you’ll be awarded a medal, and your dog will get a rosette to wear with pride.
Friends and family are welcome to come along on the day, and you and your four-legged friend will have a chance to refuel with plenty of food and drink on offer in the event village.
First aid and veterinary cover will also be available on the day.
Registration for Muddy Dog Challenge Manchester closes on Sunday 25 August. If the event reaches capacity we will close registrations early.
Ticket type Registration Fee*
Adult and dog £48.04 / Adult only £37.50

We ask each Muddy Dog Challenge participant to raise £100 to help us to be here for every cat and dog. Although there is no fundraising target for children, if you are running with a child we encourage you to try and raise more than £100.
Please note that all tickets for Muddy Dog Challenge events are sold via Eventbrite. When signing up, you will be taken to the Eventbrite site to complete your registration.
*Includes Eventbrite processing fee.
The money you raise by taking part in the Muddy Dog Challenge will go towards the running of Battersea.
